I had found no more than a name and an estimated birth year for Anne Boling Mullins, plus the information on her marriage to my ancestor George Ross Mullins. But in December 2009, I got a contact from another genealogist descended from Ann who gave me some more details. In our message exchange, she provided the following details about Anne and her multiple marriages: ------------------- She was the 2nd wife of my gggrandfather, William Boling. Her first husband was James Anderson, Murray Co, GA. Ann and William were married in Dec 1854. She married 1) James A Anderson, Murray Co, GA 7 Oct 1847; 2 children - Wm A 1849 and Margaret Elizabeth 1851. James died 1852/53. (Ann's maiden name was also Anderson) 2) Wm Boling 21 Dec 1854 Lumpkin Co, GA. Wm's wife, Mary, died in 1853. Wm had children still at home. Wm A Anderson, son of Ann, lived with the blended family, but I have found no evidence Margaret Elizabeth ever did. Wm & Ann had 6 children. Wm Boling died 1880/1881. 3) John Mullins in 1881. I don't know how long Ann lived. There is a tombstone at Hightower Bapt Ch Cemetery, Cherokee Co, GA - Ann Boling 1832-1895. She was born in 1832. Don't know if this is Ann Anderson Boling Mullins. 3 of her children are also buried there.
