Another genealogy also has her name as Hester Van Bibber. Hesther Van Bibber Born about 1727 Parents Unknown Wife of Tidence Lane Mother of Sarah Lane, Acquilla V. Lane and Isaac Lane Died June 20, 1805 in Jefferson County, Tennessee -- http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Van_Bibber-145 J J Burnett, in his Sketches about the life of Rev Tidence Lane, comments that Tidence met and married Esther Bibbins in North Carolina. However, records indicate that they married before Tidence moved to North Carolina, and she was born in Frederick, Maryland, where she and Tidence were married. The genealogy above summarizes the basic facts. There is a discrepancy among the sources on several of the facts. At least one genealogy (Gilson) reports her name as Hester VanBibber. This genealogy also has VanBibber as the middle name of her son Tidence, though the compiler does not provide a source for this information.

Edna H BIGGS Birth 24 Jun 1830 in Florida Death 5 SEP 1863 in Kaufman, Kaufman, Texas Parents: James A Biggs b 1801 Sopha A Biggs b 1809 Marriage to Isaac Jefferson BRISCOE 2 Jun 1853 Kaufman Co., TX -- Bolt-Briscoe, http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/24453098/person/1521769812?ssrc=&ftm=1 Note the place of death is reported in this genealogy as Kaufman County, instead of Parker County, Texas. This source gives a birth date and place, but does not tell where they got that information. But the two children John Franklin and Robert Winfield are reported as born in Parker County in 1860 and 1961 respectively. So it would seem she died in Parker County. I have not found burial information. Several genealogies have the death occurring in Kaufman, but none give any place of burial or explain the discrepancy with dates and place of birth of the two sons. Holden reports the family moved to Parker County in 1857, before the birth of either John of Robert. This seems to indicate that Edna died in Parker. The marriage of Isaac to Mary Jane Osborne (Kincaide) occurred too late for her to be the mother of either of the two boys.
