The closest we had come was to surmise that she might have been Lillian Ahrens, reported as age 8 in the 1940 census, thus born about 1931. Their 4th child Helen is age 9 here and was born in Montana. The last child Bernard is age 4 and was born in Minnesota. This tells us they moved from Montana to Minnesota between 1921 and 1926. I found that Amanda's mother died in Waseca County, Minnesota in 1927. So they moved with her parents from Montana to Minnesota, then moved back to Oklahoma some time between 1927 and 1930. I have not found her father's place or date of birth.
