The name M N Christian is included in the list of William and Amanda's children in a Dictionary that belonged to Amanda's brother Bud, where he also wrote poetry and other personal notes. It appears that the child listed as M N died before the 1900 census. That census lists 8 children, and indicates that Mandy has borne 10 but only 8 are now living.
