The 1930 census tells us that Judd (H J) and Claudine married when they wre 20
years old. They were born in 1892, so that would be about 1912. Their first
child, Jack, was born in September 1913. H J is reported her under the name
Judd T. this is the only instance I have seen of a T initial. We can
probably surmise from this census and 1940 that his name was Harry Judd.

Notes for Siward EXTRANEUS

Siward (Seward) was one of those Normans established early in Norfolk. It is
not known who who parents were. He is established in Litcham but his line
does not continue separately. The Le Strange story of origins continued after
Siward's grandson Durannus, son of Ralph I Le Strange, obtained lands from
Alan Fitz Flaad in Launditch and Greenhow. This line continued as Le Stranges
also into the 1300s. A genealogy is presented on the Le Strange Website The
Le strange Website, however, makes a vague statement that does not connect
with the lineage information of the Siward line, that the "House of le Strange
had been fused with Siward." http://www.ls.u-net/le_Strange/Origins.htm
Another of these early Stranges (Extraneus) associated with Hunstanton was
Bernard, who became a Crusader and was appointed the Governor of Asia Minor,
apparently never returning to Europe.
