Though we might question this very different location and occupation for this
Robert M Fowler, it fits other details, like his later marriage to Betsy Booth
and their later residence back in Texas, living and dying in Georgetown,
Texas. Betsy is from a military family and they have been all over, and in
1930 are documented in the census in Washington, DC, where Robert was working
in 1930. See Notes for Elizabeth Bygate Booth.

In 1940, Robert and Betsy are in New York where he is still working as a

---------------
Isabella of France
(1292-1358)
Queen of England

Queen to Edward II of England. She was known as Isabella the Fair, and later
as the She-Wolf of France. Isabella was the daughter of King Philip IV of
France (d.1314) and Joanna of Navarre. She was the sister of three French
Kings: Louis X (d.1316), Philip V (d.1322), and Charles IV(d.1328). Her aunt
Marguerite (her father's sister) was married to Edward I, King of England, and
she had been promised as the bride of Edward's son - Edward II.

She was married in Boulogne (1308) to King Edward II of England

Isabella of France
Birth 1292 Paris, City of Paris, ÃŽle-de-France, France
[Note that Ile de France is a quite modern name for the region of Paris; It
was in medieval tiems called the Pays de France (Land of Frnace)]
Death Aug. 23, 1358 Castle Rising, Kings Lynn and West Norfolk Borough,
Norfolk, England

British Monarch. Queen consort of King Edward II. Daughter of Philippe IV the
Fair of France and Joan of Navarre. She married Edward in 1308, shortly after
he'd ascended the throne. Isabella never held the title of Princess of Wales,
as portrayed in the film Braveheart. Though the marriage produced 4 children,
Edward had homosexual preferences, and the union was not a happy one. When her
brother Charles IV of France seized Edward's French holdings, Isabella sailed
to France to raise an army against her husband. There she became involved with
Roger Mortimer, Earl of March. Together the lovers raised an army and invaded
England, forcing Edward to abdicate in favor of his eldest son, Edward III.
The young king was only 14, and Isabella and Mortimer ruled as regents. They
plotted to kill the deposed king (some believe they did cause his death), but
Edward III remembered their disloyalty, and had Mortimer executed for treason.
His mother was forced to retire to Castle Rising in Norfolk, where she died.
