I got a helpful note on posted on RootsWeb version of my genealogy providing some details about Della Hopkins. "Della Bell Hopkins daughter of Joseph Alfred Hopkins and Martha Marie Louise Hudgeons. 11th of 12 children, my grandfather Marcie LaFayette Hopkins was the 4th, Della married Fred Tugman" -- Novella Johnson, note on RootsWeb genealogy record for Della Hopkins A genealogy reports that Della Hopkins died in Gillham, Oklahoma. But I cannot locate a town named Gillham in Oklahoma in any reference source. The Social Security Death Index clears that up, indicating that Gillham is in Sevier County, Arkansas. This is the county where SSDI also reports Fred died, in DeQueen in 1975. Social Security Death Index Della B. I have not found documentation associating Della with the name Taylor.

At age 2, however, it could have been later 1857. However, in 1880, Peter is reported as 21, making it more likely tat he was born in mid to later 1858, not 1857. I have found no actual birth record, or burial information that reports his birth date. It seems more likely that Peter's mother was Catherine Davis, who would have thus married Hugh Kerr McSwain in about 1857 or the first part of 1858. I have found no marriage record for them. The children reported in Adalaiss's memorial on Find a Grave are calculated by Find a Grave form memorials that have ben posted. So this list cannot be exhaustive. I have found one genealogy that names her Nannie Hornbuckle, and even has birth and death information, but provides no dcoumentation at all: Birth 7 Apr 1869 Death 6 Mar 1949 -- Wanette, http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/22318198/person/20214576407 The genealogy has no parents for Nannie. I may be representing family information, since it does have a grave footstone. The name of Nannie's husband here is Alfred Matt Mullins (instead of Alford or Alfred Martin Mullins).
