In the 1900 census, Martha's husband William is reproted born in West
Virginia, but we know from family sources he was born in Yancey County, North
Carolina.  The 1910 and 1920 census correclty reprot his birth state as North
carolina.  I have not transcribed them here.

provide no documentation.
