In 1900 the census records that Arthur was living in Point DeLuce in Arkansas County. Ancestry.com says that the Longs were in DeWitt town in the Point DeLuce Township. Nothing on the actual page shows they were in any town. The line for a town name is empty on this page. Many Dumonds lived in this area, although the family of Arthur's future wife, Lillie Dumond, were in Cleburne County in 1900. 1900 Federal Census, Arkansas County, Arkansas, 27 June, Point DeLuce Township, District 4, page 21A, Hse #408, Fam #415 Long, Henry Head W M Apr 1870 30 married 9 years AR TN OH Farmer Rents Long, Mollie Wife W F May 1874 26 married 9 yrs 2 children/1 living AR AR AR Long, Arthur Son W M June 1891 8 Single AR AR AR 1910 Federal Census, Arkansas County, Arkansas, 27 April, Point DeLuce Township, District 11, page 9A, Hse/Fam #155 Long, Henry F Head M W 51 2nd Marriage Married 17 years AR TN OH Farmer Long, Mollie Wife F W 36 1st Marriage Married 17 years Borne 4 children, 3 living AR AR AR Long, Arthur Son M W 17 Single AR AR AR Home Long, Edward C Son M W 12 AR AR AR Home Long, Bertha Dau F W 9 (?)
