Her famly situation is confusing, with the names given here reporting her father as Ruben Bennett, and her mother as Ella Thompson, but Reva's surname as Thompson. Also, Reva's daughter's married name is also Bennett, according to the obituary. ------------------ Obituary of Reva Ernestine Thompson Lorick Published January 3, 2017 Reva Ernestine Thompson Lorick, 99, of DeWitt entered into eternal peace on Jan. 1, 2017. If he was born in 1894, he would have been not yet 8 years old at the Dawes registration. The age in the 1910 census matches more closely with birth in 1894. 1930 fits a 1893 date. Some genealogies split the difference reporting the year as 1893. Several genealogies reports a child who was born and died between the censuses. No source information is given, but several of these have such careful detail, it shows they are reporting form firm family sources. There are not many sources for data on William and his wife Martha. A couple of genealogies report some information that appears to come form family sources, but no documentation is provided. William Thompson Birth 1652 in Rapidan, Orange, Virginia Death 1701 in Blackwell Neck, Hanover, Virginia Married Martha Elizabeth Buttall Birth 1627 in Wrexham, Denbighshire, Wales Death 1670 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania -- Fisher Family, http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/5641182/person/-1417797027 Note that William is about 25 years older that Martha. There is confusion on the husbands of Martha Buttall, and overlapping dates in the various sources, indicating that two or more individuals are confused in the reports. One fact supporting this is that Thomas Wynne, rep[roted to have married Martha Buttall, immigrated to Philadelphia form Wales, and Philadelphia is reported as the place of death of Martha Buttall who married William Thompson. But William Thompson and his wife Martha are associated with Virginia, not Philadelphia. There may have been two women of the same name, one in Virginia and the other in Philadelphia, or the maiden name has been imposed. some sources for William Thompson's wife have only her first name of Martha.
