  • Uncle John lived his last several years in the Oklahoma Veterans Center in Ardmore, Oklahoma.  During those years and a long while before he moved from Lindsay, Oklahoma, to Ardmore, his niece Gladys Loretta Gregory Gay managed his busienss affairs and was his primary care giver.

    Neither his gravestone nor family information give a second name or initial for John.

    John's funeral service was held at the B G Boydston Funeral Chapel inLindsay, Oklahoma, with Bro Grace and Bro Elkins of the Church of Godofficiating.  Burial followed in Greenhill Cemetery, McClain County, north of Lindsay.
