Notes

• This child, along with two others in this family, is reported in notes on the family discovered by Lou Ila Jenkins in her own handwriting,but forgotten, stored away with other family papers discovered in May2007.  From the dates of birth and death, they appear to have been written in 1954 or 1955.
  
  The 1910 census for the family of Thomas and Mattie Terry, however, reports that Mattie had 7 children and that all 7 have survived.  This does not allow for the 3 extra names that show up in the list of children in the complete and systematic family information recorded in those notes by Lou.
  
  The source of the information is not identified on the pages of notes.  Lou does not remember exactly when or from whom the information was obtained, but places it likely at the time of an extended visit with Jennie and Joe Jenkins, her parents-in-law.  These three children appear in the sequence of their birth dates in the list with the other known children recorded in the census.
  
  The other two "new" children are Carrie Lee, born 13 December 1885, and William Earnest Terry, born 3 November 1887.
