- From George's birth date we can determine that his mother in Elizabeth Jane Tate, who died in 1908.
George is normally reported in public records as simply. We do not have information about George's first marriage. I have not been able to find any Texas Marriage record I can clearly identify as him for a first marriage. In 1969, he married widow Mollie Morgan Green. This record is online.
I had some difficulty finding the records of George's birth and death. Before finding the public record, I knew he had died before 1981.In the obituary of his half-brother Jimmie Lee Jackson in 1981, George is not mentioned as a survivor.
A cousin and research partner Wanda Cox, located the 1910 census for James Toliver Jackson and his family. For some reason it had been hiding from me. In that census George is 7. So he was born in about 1902.
