I have no information on the two young children who died between their marriage in 1905 and this census.
In 1910 Arthur and Victoria live two houses down form her parents, Joseph R and Nancy J. In between is another Burchfiel family headed bya widow Ellen F, age 42. From the age, she is probably a sister-in-law of Joseph, who was married to his brother. But I have not put together all the Burchfiel family information.
I have not found records for the family in the 1920 census. I find afew more details in Arthur's Draft Registration for WWI, dated 12 September 1918. Their residence is on Rural Route 2 of Dandridge, the county seat of Jefferson County. He is registered as a self-employed farmer. No middle name is listed in his registration, which is unusual. He signs it the same way, simply Arthur Strange. He has brown eyes, and black hair. Family sources give us the middle name of Seton. The registrar is a kinsman of his wife, named W W Burchfiel.
In 1930 they and their two young children are living with Victoria's father, and their son Loyd is living next door with his wife Vida, whohave been married about one year. Joseph is a widow, so we know thatVictoria's mother Nancy died sometime between April 1910 and April 1930. The 1920 census would be helpful here to fill out the family's details.
This census gives us the name of the road they live on, Parrots Chapel Road. Victoria's father, J R Burchfiel, is listed as head of house, but with no occupation. Arthur is the one listed as a farmer. Loyd's occupation is Laborer.
