Leatrice Joy "Sue" Martinez 75 of Guymon died Wednesday December 14, 2011.
Prayer services will be at 7 PM today in Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home with Joe Cruz deacon officiating. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM Saturday in St. Peter's Catholic Church with the Rev. Mike Wheelahan as celebrant. Burial will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery.
Mrs. Martinez was born July 25, 1936 in Hobart, Oklahoma to Joseph Oscar and Macie Mae Dorrell Christian. She married Lucas John Martinez Sr on October 9, 1952 in Las Vegas, New Mexico.
Survivors include two sons Lucas Martinez Jr. of Guymon and Tony Martinez of Greenville, Texas; three daughters: Delores Buttry of Kit Carson, Colorado; Becky Van of Guymon; and Barbara Littrell of Choctaw; a sister Fern Pilgrim of Chickasha; 19 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Memorial Hospital of Texas County in care of the funeral home P.O. Box 1112 Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
