SHELBY - Mr. Ben Lee McSwain, 100, of Carillon Assisted Living, died Saturday, July 10, 2010 at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center.
A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Joe and Sally Cantrell McSwain. He was a member of Second Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Gladys Colquitt McSwain and a son Bobby Joe McSwain.
He is survived by his son Ben D. and wife, Lavon Kiser McSwain, of N. Myrtle Beach, seven grandchildren, 11 great grand-children; and daughter-in-law, Lois T. McSwain, of Greensboro.
Visitation: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church
Funeral Monday, 2 p.m. at Second Baptist Church
