This record for Louisa Davis may refer to the same individual known as Ellen B Davis in other soruces as the second spouse of Benjamin Franklin Christian. In the record on the state of Texas is reported as the place, no county. The 1850 census, where she only she and her father appear in the Davis household, reports her as Lousia N B Davis. The name Ellen B may be based on a misperception of her initials LNB. Ben's obit refers to her as Lou Davis, and his will refers to her as Lou N B Christian.
"Benjamin F "Ben" Christian ... His wife died in 1863, and in 1864 he was married to Miss Lou Davis, daughter of Micajah Davis, one of the earliest settlers of Grayson County. After the loss of the late war he removed to Whitesboro and engaged in the mercantile business with Capt. Sam B. Savage. He died October 16th, 1886. His last wife survives him. ..."
