Notes

• In the 1860 census, the child corresponding to the details for Adeline seems to be C A, age 7.  She is generally referred to in family references as Adeline.  In 1870, she was Catharine A.  Genealogies with both names spell Catherine the normal way with E in the middle, not A like the census enumerator.
