  A couple of genealogies have the full name sof the parents of this home as William George Gregory and Syntha Ann McGregor.
  
  There is a marriage record in the name Annfield Gregory, age 24, born and resident in Fleming County, Kentucky.  She was marrying a 60-year old man in 1952, one William Emmons, a widower also born and resident of Fleming County.

  Anfield married a much older widower.  In the 1860 census, she is reported as age 30 and he is 70.  She was only 9 years older than his oldest child still in the household.  The last two children, Sarah and Charlotte, in the following census enumeration would be her children.  One oddity is that the census is that on William's record, it is checked that he was married within the year.  But we see in their marriage record that WIlliam married Anfield Gregory in 1852.
