  Nathan Gregory was the youngest child of Joseph Hampton Gregory and Lina S Ham. He was born in the "Mud Lick" area of Fleming County, near Tilton. He married twice, first to Julia Lee Gross (or Grose) and second to Minnie Francis Stephens. His first marriage was childless. The second marriage produced three sons, Nathan Jr, William Todd and Robert Charles. He died in his home on Crest Avenue in Flemingsburg. He is buried in Hillsboro cemetery, but does not have a headstone at this time.
