  The birth date reported here for Lou matches neither Lucretia nor Lucinda's birth ages in the 1860 census.  Ages there would place birth of Lucretia in about 1855 and Lucinda about September 1859.  Her son's birth record above indicates that it was Lucretia who married Andrew Alfrey, the informant on her death certificate.
  
  Luccretia's father John Jameson Gregory died before the 1871 census.  Her mother Harriet was reported as the hed of the household.
