  There are four other Gregory households in a row on this same page.  Davis S Gregory is the son of Rev James Henry Gregory, the brother of Taylor, next door to David, and Joseph J, the oldest of these four heads of hosueholds.  The father of James Henry, Taylor and Joseph was Jesse Gregory.  Arthur is the son of a cousin, John B Gregory, who is a son of Nathaniel, whose father was Jesse Tyler Gregory, their common ancestor.

  Notes for David “Samuel” Gregory
  His stone in Jones Cemetery says 1888-1972, but the 1900 census states that he was born August 1887.
  
  The closest match in the Kentucky Death Index and the SSDI is a “Sam Gregory” who died 20 Jun 1972 in Greenup Co., Ky, born 24 July 1888, Social Security number issued in Kentucky, last residence Barboursville, Cabell Co., West Virginia.
