• "My dad’s stepmother was Norah Whalin, sister of Eldon and Kermit.  I remember her talking of her famous family in Texas.  My dad, Lester Reeves, is now 96 and recently turned over to me the family photos and memorabilia.  It will take me months to go through it all, my intention being to get items to people who would care about them most. Today I ran across articles related to the Wills band,  Whalin photos and a letter from Eldon and Odella, dated 9-13-61, in which they reference 'the drunken man who killed Carroll and Cecil.'"
