  In 1870, only two children are reported in Elizabeth Few Jenkins' household, both daughters.  Their names are reported only as initials.  Thus S M would match Mahal/Mahuldah and M C would then be Matilda.  The initial C is clarified in the1880 census, where the child named Caroline there matches Matilda.
