  Frederick, son of Thomas Vernon Few and Sarah Cornelia (Neale) Crowder, married Mildred Marie Cole, daughter of Jack Cole, Sr and Etta McLean about 1942 in NC.  To this marriage were born Mary Neale, Frederick William, Jr and James Oliver.

  Fred W Few, 88
  Fred W Few, 88, of Hendersonville died Sunday, March 7, 2004, in Pardee Hospital following a short illness.
  
  He was a native and lifelong resident of Hendersonville, a son of the late Vernon and Neale Crowder Few, and the husband of Mildred C Few, who died earlier this year.  He was a 1933 graduate of Christ School. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Neale Woodward and Mary Klutz; and two brothers, Ben Few and Joseph Few.
  
  His father was a druggist at Justus Pharmacy and a local landowner, who donated the property for the Federal Building and Post Office on the corner of Fourth Avenue and Church Street.  His grandparents were Dr Columbus Few, one of the first doctors in Henderson County, and Floried Justus Few.
  
  He managed, owned and operated the Depot Bargain House on Seventh Avenue East for 40 years.  He was a member of St James Episcopal Church, an avid golfer and member of the Crooked Creek Golf Club.
  
  Survivors include his daughter, Mary Neale Warren and her husband, Jim, of Dexter, Mich.; two sons, Bill Few and his wife, Judi, and Jim Few and his wife, Liz, of Hendersonville; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
  
  A private family service was held at Oakdale Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
  
  Frederick and Mildred divorced 15 Jul 1985 Henderson Co., NC. Mildred died 25 Feb 2004, Hendersonville, Henderson Co., NC.  Unknown where she buried.
  
  Sandra Jayne Savage Ruyle is 3rd cousin 3 times removed of Frederick.
