in the 1909 Houston City directory reported a bartender, as also reported in later records. His sons Edward J and Thomas A Randolph were check clerks at the Rice Hotel. The sons were still iving at home. This Eliza Jane was not reported, since this directory did not report wives for some reason.

In 1911, Tom and Eliza Jane were listed in the Houston City Directory, as well as Frank and Tom with hsi wife Pearl.

In the 1912 city directory, no wives were reported. But both Thomases are listed at the same addresses as in 1911. So we know the first listed is Thomas Jr, since the Thomas at this address in 1911 had a wife named Pearl, while the 1911 wife at 219 Hogan St was named Eliza J.
Thomas Jr was reported in the 1900 census as Thomas A, like the third Thomas Randolph here. Genealogies tell us both father and son were Thomas Andrew Randolph.
There is a third Thomas Randolph now reported here, whose identity is an enigma. He is listed as Thomas A, and his address is one house down from Thomas Jr. But it is noted he rooms there. This may be a hotel or boarding house. He may be a now-adult son of another Randolph family that we see listed here and later, who just happens to have the same name as our Thomas An Randolph Jr.
