  Funeral services for Mrs Kate Gregory Dillard of Cross Anchor, who died Saturday night, Oct 16, 1943, at the home of her son, Warren Dillard, were conducted at 4 o'clock Monday, Oct 18, 1943, at the son's home by the Revs F C Owens and W A Christopher and D S Lee.
  
  Interment was in the Belmont Cemtery. She was born May 6, 1862 to the late Warren Simpson and Frances Gregory of Cross keys. She was the wife of W. Y. Dillard.
  
  Survivors included: two daughters, Mrs A R Edens and Mrs B H Stribling, three sons, D G; Warren and Frank Dillard, two sisters, Mrs L J Browning and Mrs Lizzie Gregory, a brother, Victor Gregory, and nine grandchildren. She was 81 years of age at her demise.
