• In the 1930 census, J M is reported as 3 months old, which would mean he was born in December 1929.  Some directory listings for a J M Jackson, in Ringling, which is near other members of his famliy, reports his birth date as in June 1929.  His birth date on his grave matches with an exact birth date of 25 June 1929.
  
  His obituary reports he was born in Vinson, which is in Harmon County, Oklahoma.  Harmon County is on Oklahoma's western border with the Texas panhandle.
