    Annie was the daughter of Clint (Henry Clinton) Marshall (1889-1968) and Viney (Lavinia) Padgett (1889-1976. She was born in Ethel, Arkansas County, Arkansas, where her parents lived on a farm.) Annie married a local boy, Elmer Foote Jones, on 3 October 193. They farmed in Ethel also.

    Elmer died in 1966. Annie later moved into DeWitt, the country seat about 15 miles to the west, where she died. They were both buried side by side in the community cemetery for Ethel, Mt Pleasant Cemetery, a little south of Ethel.
