Elvin did not die until 2002. It appears that Rosa Mae and Elvin were divorced at some point. In her mother's obituary in 1999, Rosa is referred to as a survivor under the name of "Rosa Mae Evans of Marietta." So her second marriage occurred some time before 1999. I have not found a record or reference to the divorce or second marriage.
