- Richard Bates and Kaye Nicholson both have this person's name as Huston Dr Terry, as though his middle name was the title Dr. Unfortunately, neither gives any sources for their information. This makes no sense to me, nor does the name Major for his older brother. But I find Major as though it was a given name in the censuses, and Major Douglas named his son Major Douglas Jr.
