ADA- Services for Tommy K. Johnson, 67, Ada, are 3 p.m. Thursday at the First Free Will Baptist Church, the Rev. Keith Burden officiating. Burial follows at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson died April 29, 1996, in a train-auto accident at Ada. He was born Oct. 28, 1928, at Elmore City, to G. L. and Florence Philpot Johnson. He lived in Ada all his life and attended Ada schools. He retired as Ada Middle School custodian in 1991.
On May 13, 1950, he and Lela Newton were married in Ada.
He is survived by his wife, Lela, of the home; four daughters, Ann Archer, Red Bluff, Calif., Sharon K. Keeling, Darlene Thetford and Kris Dowling, all of Ada; a half brother, Gordon Johnson, California; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
His son, Rennie Lee Johnson, also died April 29, 1996.
Bearers are Alvin McAnally, Clayton Suddock, Bob McNutt, J. T. Tatum, Ernie Staggs, and Kirby Wright. Honorary bearers are Luke Stonecipher and Red Rhynes.
Criswell Funeral Home, Ada, is in charge of arrangements.
