Notes

• The first information I found about Billy D Terry was his obituary included in the memorial on Find a Grave.  This obituary was published in the Amarillo Globe-News, which exhibits the frustrating characteristic of leaving out the birth information.  This obit follows the same format as that of his father Orville William.  Kenneth Bogard, who created these memorials also has included no photo of the gravestone.  So we are dependent on other records for the birth information, which often includes only the transcribed date.

  PAMPA - Billy D. Terry, 68, died Wednesday, February 18, 2009.
  
  Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Fellowship Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Worden, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
  
  Mr. Terry was the owner and operator of Terco Supply for 21 years, retiring in 2005. He worked for Clifton Supply part time after his retirement. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
  
  Survivors include his wife, Lou Terry; two sons, Ronnie Terry and Donnie Terry, both of Pampa; two daughters, Sherry Payton of Woodward, Okla., and Cindy Brown of Pampa; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Clarence Terry of Pampa; and two sisters, Jean Grantham of Oklahoma City and LaVonda Brinkley of Erick, Okla.
  
  The family suggests memorials be to Fellowship Baptist Church, 622 E. Francis St., Pampa, TX 79065.
