Mary Ruth always went by both names. I recall as a child hearing my parents and family calling her Maruth. That was all we knew her by. My mother's cousins were "Dave and Maruth." I was quite old before I realized her real name was the double Mary Ruth!

Friends and neighbors of Mrs. Mary Tugman of the Saddle Mountain community gathered at the Victory schoolhouse to help her observe the 75th anniversary of her birthday. Mrs Tugman is none of the old settlers of that area.

Following the serving of the dinner, the group joined in singing favorite songs, led by Thomas Worley as accompanist.
