HOUGH
Robert Leslie "Cotton" Hough, age 81, of Oklahoma City died Dec. 5, 2003. He was bom Nov. 20, 1922 in Blackwell, OK to James L. and Emma Hough. He served his Country as a Marine in WW II and then lived in Maysville, OK, where he worked for Gulf Oil Co. and where he was a volunteer Fire Fighter for over 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Eva Sue [Mae] of the home;
children, Laura Vanover of Wichita Falls, TX and Barry Hough (Charlotte) of Oklahoma City
Step Children, Leanne Deggs (Bob) of Harlingen, TX; Tom Jones (Gilda) of Brownsville, TX; Sharon Green (Terry) of Dallas, TX
1 Brother; 3 half sisters
3 Grandchildren, Allison Hough; and Ricky and Robbie Vanover
3 Great Grandchildren and other family and friends
The family would like to extend a special Thanks to Good Shepherd Hospice for all their care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice.
Services will be 10:00 AM Monday Dec. 8, 2003 at Guardian West Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

Note that the obituary names Robert's wife as Eva Sue, instead of Eva Mae, as she is known to her Gregory family cousins. But her cousin Lou Ila Gregory Jenkins comments that Eva's husband (presumably Cotton Hough) called her Sue.
