  Sherry's first husband was named Waltrr Sam Orr.  Sherry and Walter married about 1953.  No marriage record has been found.  But Sherry filed a change of name with Social Security to Sherry Orr in December 1953.  So they were probably married that month or at least some time in 1953.
  
  The first record we have of them as a married couple is a listing in the 1956 Stockton, California, City Directory.  They are also reported at thet same street address in several later directories.
