Notes
- Emmalissa was the daughter of Isaac Mullinax and Rachel Lowery. She is attested in the genealogies of many family lineages, with reports of her birth and death information from the grave in Talking Rock Cemetery, near Jasper, Pickens County, Georgia where her family had lived. Genealogies say she had married Dr Benjamin Stephens only two years before her death in 1851. They are recorded in the 1850 census, in Subdivision 33 of Gilmer County, Georgia.
