  Note that the compiled sources like this report that Samuel's mother is Susannah Marie Brashears (Brasseur), who was his father's 3rd wife.  However, the commonly reported marriage date for Mars Mareen and Susannah is 1673, after the birth date normally given for Samuel, 1667.  The birth year of Mary Bouth Duvall is reported as 1872.  If Samuel's birth date is correct, Mareen's 1st wife Mary Bouth, not his second wife Susannah Brashears, would have been his mother.
