Both the infants' graves are unnamed, having only the designatoin Baby Jackson on each. But the Parker County death register identifies the girl as Jewel, dying on 27 December 1908 at the age of 8 months. Wanda Tate Cox and her cousin Teresa Tate Smith found a record of death for Jewel on the next line after Eliza's record in the county death register.
Eliza's death record reports she died on 4 November 1908. Both she and her 8-month-old daughter died of consumption (tuberculosis).
