Notes

• Demaris' name is spelled different ways in different records, indicating that the recorders did were not familiar with the name and did not know how to spell it.  I have used the standard classical spelling of the name.
  
  Note that tin their marriage record the marriage year is 23 years before her reported date of birth!  There is an error in the transcription.  The image of this record is not available on Ancestry, but their transcription is wrong.  The birth year for Eli is about right, and the birth year for Demaris (Demarious) appears reasonable.
