  There is an anomaly of dates.  The date of Alta Mae's birth on her gravestone is 27 July 1935.  But the record of her parents' marriage is 23 December 1940.  The memorial on Find a Grave has no photo of the gravestone for verification of the date.  The memorial has her father's middle name as Levi, while all other references have it as Lee.

  Alta was a member of St. Charles Baptist Church.  She was administrator of the St. Charles Water Department for many years.
  
  Survivors include three sons; Johhy [Johnny?] Carver (Ester) of Cabot, James Carver (Sarita) of Keo, Jerry Carver (Christina) of Ward; one sister, Barbara Berry (Scott) of Benton, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
  
  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 48 years, Millard Carver, sister, Joyce Fox and brother, Wayne McSwain.
