Joe's first wife Sylvania Tapley died between 1925 and 1928. I have not found a record of her death. In the 1930 census, Joe is married to Victor (Victoria) Pack. They were married about 1928. In the household is Joe and Sylvania's daughter Hazel, born about 1925. They are living in the household of Victor's sister Goldie Pack Potter and her hsuband Elmer.

By 1935, they were into a home of their own in another part of Lawton, with Goldie and her family next door to them. Both the men are working for the Workman's Progress Association and the women working at the Creamery as Chicken Pickers. I'd be intrerested to kown why a Creamery was processing chickens.

Victor remarried about 1948, so it seemed that Joe had died before that time. But a genealogy reports his death was in 1962. If this is the correct death record and location, then they were divorced. I have not found a reference to that divorce.
