I knew Ronnie growing up, and later my wife Edith and I visited him and his family (wife Sue) in Durant, southern Oklahoma. on the northern edge of Lake Texoma, in the Red River Valley. Ronnie was a pharmacist, and owned several pharmacies in the southern Oklahoma.

He died as a result of a heart condition. Ronnie was born a "blue baby," with leaking heart valves. He had several operations at different ages to address this problem. I remember the major operation he had in his teens. I remember before that time he had a bluish cast to his skin. He had a weak heart, but had a fairly normal life.
