Notes
- The name recorded for W S Cohron in the 1920 census is puzzling, but characteristic of the unclear hand and errors of the enumerator on that page. W S is listed with a basically unreadable name, appearing to have been overwritten. Ancestry.com transcribes it as Tera, but in 1930 his name is clearly W S Cohron. In 1920 W S's wife is correctly recorded as Caldonia J, but in 1930 she is called Carolina J.

The son Felix is transcribed by Ancestry from the hard-to-read handwriting as Patric. This was an older brother of Tilman Porter Cohron. Family sources indicate the full name of Felix was Felix Lacy. Felix's age of 19 in 1920 matches the grave information for F L Cohron in Throckmorton Cemetery, Throckmorton County, Texas. The dates given there for birth and death are 1901-1951. F L married Marie Jackson, while Tilman married her half-sister Pauline Mae Jackson.
Many of the details of the members of these families have been analyzed in email discussions and joint research of Marion Mixon, Wanda Tate Cox and Orville Boyd Jenkins. This involved family information, physical investigation of cemeteries, posted records from censuses and other public documents and Internet cemetery registers.
In 1930, we find W S and Caldonia now in Throckmorton County, Texas.

Their son Tilman and his new wife Pauline are living next door in their own household. From family sources we know this to be Pauline Mae Jackson, daughter of Toliver and Elizabeth (Griffith) Jackson of Parker County, Texas. Their ages and ages of marriage tell us they have been married a little over a year.
