  In the 1900 census, Lester is already 4 years old, but in 1910 he is reported as only 10, not 15.  In the 1920 census, the age reported appears to be 20.  Lester's with Tuler (Thula?) is also 20.
  
  Even in the draft registration, in which both the age and the date of birth are entered, they do not match.  He is 20, but the birth is reported as 19 May 1898.  This is a 2-year difference from his birth date reported in the 1900 census.  But it is closer to all other the age reports.

  Lester's presence in McMinn County is another indication that his line of Gregorys are probably related to Tapley Gregory of Guilford County, North Caroilna and later of Smith County, Tennessee.  Some children of Tapley moved to McMinn County and and other areas.  Tapley's father was Benjamin Bry Gregory (1761-1846), the son of Thomas B Gregory (1730-1818).  But no specific link has been found to confirm the relationship of Lester's grandfather James Henry Gregory (1826-1910) in Alabama and Jefferson County, Tennessee with Tapley Gregory and his descendants.
