Notes

• In the 1920 census, Grover is the only child in the home of Charley and Parrie McSuane in the Alabama Township of Nevada County.  This Charley, or Charles E, is the son of Edward R McSwain.

  Lafayette County is the smallest Arkansas county in size and is located southwest of Nevada County, the center for the McSwain clan in southwest Arkansas, mostly around Emmet.  Lewisville is the County, Seat, so this is probably where Grover and Jessie got married.
  
  In the 1930 census, Grover is enumerated as G H McSwain, instead of G W, with his wife Jessie, living next door to G H's parents C D and Parlee McSwain.  His father's name should be C E instead of CD.  Perhaps the enumerator confused him with his cousins CD Sr and Jr (Charles Douglas).
