  A Social Security record reports a death date close to that reported for George by his wife's obituary.  But the birth date is a couple of years older than his age in censuses indicates.  A memorial on Find a Grave with the reported dates reports a burial in Franklin County, Arkansas for a George W Jenkins.  Franklin is near Ft Smith, Arkansas, and this does not seem likely to be the same George Jenkins.  From other family information, some of it in his wife's obituary, George died either in California or in Oklahoma.
  
  The George Jenkins in Franklin County died 25 years before Ethel Poston Jenkins died in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.  She had been living in the same Oklahoma community for 20 years and had moved to Oklahoma from California.  I have not found death and burial information for George Jenkins, husband of Ethel Poston.  Their son George Harold was living in Tujunga, California, at the time of his mother's death in 1997.  I have found no information on his father there.
