Etta Adline Scott was the daughter of Peter Magness (P.M.) Scott and Sarah Francis (Clay) Scott. Her grandparents were Stephen A. Scott and Margaret Ann (Davis) Scott. Her parents and grandparents were Jones County pioneers and are buried at Mount Hope Cemetery.
Etta married James Luther Beasley in 1901 and they were the parents of eight children. She was later married to Jeff C. Brinkley.

I see that James Beasley died in 1951. But Etta Adline was married to Jeff Brinkley before 1940, when she was reported as his wife in the 1940 census in Ellis County, This means that she and James divorced sometime before1940. It is odd htat the well-commented memorial on Find a Grave does not mention that.
