  The memorial on Finda Grave for Alfred is somewhat confused.  It includes his obituary form the local Shelby Star.  The obit reports that he died on Friday Sept 30, but Thursday was the 29th.  His grave also has Sept 30, but the memorial reprots the date as 29 September 2010.  The obit was published on Sunday 3 October, and reprots the funeral would be on Monday (4 October 2010).  Social Security records report his date of death as 30 September 2010.

  LAWNDALE - Alfred Evoid Fisher, 77, 102 Leaflock Lane, went home to be with the Lord Friday, Sept. 30, 2010 [Sept 30 was Friday], at Cleveland Regional Medical Center, Shelby.
  
  Born in Lincoln County on May 19, 1933, he was a son of the late Charles Lester Fisher and Martha Roxanna Dedmon Fisher. He was a member of Plainsview Baptist Church. He retired as a self-employed house painter. He served in the U.S. Army.
  
  In addition to his parents, he also preceded in death by his first wife, Florence Fisher and his second wife, Lola Mae Fisher; two brothers, R.F. Fisher and Forrest Fisher and a sister, Mary Lou Seagle.
  
  He is survived by a son, Johnny Fisher and his wife, Barbara of Fallston; a sister, Elsie Fisher of Lincolnton; two grandchildren Rocki Smith and husband Johnathan and Katie Pressley and one great-grandchild, Aurora Smith.
