  No date of residence is clear for Florence in Coeur d';Alene.  There is a marriage record for her in 1969, but it is in Los Angeles, California.  It is odd, also, because the groom is Carl Holtz, to whom she was earlier married.  They appear together in a city directory in 1941!  No interim divorce record has yet been found.
  
  But Florence's name when they married in 1969 was Morris, indicating a previous marriage.  In the California index records a copy of the record with each name is there, so we find two records for this 1969 record, one for Florence under each surname.

  An earlier record for a Carl Holtz in Oakland, California, may be for this same husband of Florence.  But the wife of Carl Holt reported in the 1941 Oakland City Directory is reported as Naomi, resembling Florence's middle name of Neomi.  But this may be only incidental, and may be another Carl Holtz, since Florence seems to have always gone by her first name.

  Her husband Carl Holtz soon died or they divorced.  Florence married Gene K Jenkins less than a year later, in January 1970.  Gene, like Florence, had earlier been living in Coeur d'Alene for some time.  Their marriage may have been held there, and was at some time after Gene's divorce from Charlotte Pederson in 1966 in Coeur d'Alene.  But the divorce for Gene and Charlotte was granted in Orange County, California.  Since the last marriage for each of them was in neighboring counties of California, it is likely they married there.
  
  The marriage record for Gene and Florence has not been found.  But her Social Security records (see above) indicate she filed a matching change of name with Social Security in January 1970 to Florence Neomi Jenkins.  No divorce record or death record for Carl has been found.

  ST. GEORGE -- Florence Neomi Jenkins, 74, passed away September, 19, 2004 in St. George, Utah. She was born September 30, 1929 in Kinsley, Kansas to Eva Mae Hensey and William Henry Plunkett.  [note obit has 19 Sep 1929, but date on the grave is 18 Sep 1929]
  
  A special "thank you" is extended to a special granddaughter, Corina Carbajal, for her loving care of Florence.
  
  She is survived by two sons and two daughters Darla Aguilar, Beaver Dam, AZ, Donald Morris, Phoenix, AZ, Debora Morris, Beaver Dam, AZ and Dan Morris, Billings, MT; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
  
  Graveside services will be held Friday, September 24, 2004, Loma Vista Cemetery, California.
